The person behind @mflresources
“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” – Confucius
Hello everyone!
My name is Alba and I am the person behind MFL Resources. I am a Spanish native who moved to England in 2012 and decided to make this country my home. I am really grateful for all the opportunities this country has given me: my family, my career and wonderful friends.
I have a degree in Journalism (University of Seville, 2005-2010) and after I finished university I felt lost. The recesion was hitting Spain hard and I could not find a job. Then I decided to leave my country and move to England, and the 6th of July 2012 I flew over to start my new job as an Aupair. A year later I started looking into becoming a teacher and I am so glad I decided to go for it. I did my PGCE and I am an MFL teacher in a Secondary School in Suffolk.
Creating resources is a passion I didn´t even know I had until I started teaching. Five years into this career, making resources doesn´t really feel like a job. It is more like a hobby and I can´t get enough!
I really hope you like what you see in this website. As a teacher I know how busy we all are and how stressful this job can be, so I like to think I create resources to save other teachers time and to reduce the workload.
Thank you for visiting my site and I sincerely hope you find something useful!
